hey guys!! so i'm in the process of getting a 05 STi (keep fingers crossed!!) and i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good first mod to the engine/exhaust??? I live in Santa Rosa so i'm planning on having FLI do most of the work so i was just trying to get a good idea of what teh rest of you started with. Any responses would be appreciated!!! Thanks!!

Nothing really. You already have a fair amount of power. Try sway bars. That'll be something you'll notice. I mean... sure, you have the option to do intakes, downpipes, uppipes, catbacks, pulley's, bigger turbo's, but I think sway bars will be something you'll notice the most. All the other things add power, but the question is, will you notice the power gains. Also keep in mind that if you do decide to do intake, turbo, and/or catless downpipe, you'll need to get a tune.

Scratch the above. Drive your car a little, and make a decision on what you need the most.

Yeah. Definitely more power. Don't forget all the supporting mods and tune as well.

welcome...theres tons of stuff u can do, but it's really up to your preference..i say go for a catback as your first mod..go to youtube and listen to all the diffrent brands..good luck and have fun
