New here from Detroit
New here from Detroit
well, lived in Detroit for 7 years, but now its the burbs for me... can i still pretend to be cool?
anyways, its great there's so much info and sites out there on these cars, i finally registered and thought id introduce myself!
ive been saving up, paying stuff off and working towards something newer than 99, (been driving motor swapped 90's VW's since i was 18) i wanted something practical, comfortable, daily drivable but it still has to be fun and hopefully reliable. im really sick of FWD after i had a taste of RWD ( had an e30), and ive hated going back ever since.. anyways, i found a car in Kentucky after looking for months, we talked a bit and worked out a good deal and my friend and i went down with me on Thursday to go get this!

**** previous owner had no receipts not 100% sure on the trans parts
this is the newist thing ive ever owned! its soooo solid! and it handles freaking awesome! i cant wait to get used to it and have a little fun.. i also got a skidplate 4 hoosier rain race tires, an even bigger top mount, a crossover pipe and some other stuff with it!
its plenty quick for a really fun daily driver, plans are to install a couple of the parts he give me with it and just enjoy it. maybe someday replace the front bumper with an Un-cut one because i dont plan on putting a FMIC on it, and the owner before this guy cut it out for an install but sold the car before putting it in (supposedly).
annnnyways, ive been a long time VW nut, and subie lover from a distance, im happy to finally have one!

BTW im looking for a good shape vf34
