Welcome!

Here are some considerations:

Sway Bars
Exhaust
Wheels/Tires
Springs

Among those, the thing I would notice the most would be sway bars. Pretty easy to install, too. At least the rear is.

What's the purpose of sway bars?

Kind of like shocks/springs, except horizontal. It changes the handling characteristics of the car. It's kind of difficult to explain, but it eliminates body roll.

Essentially, by changing/upgrading your sway bars, it'll make your car's handling a little more responsive and fun.

Welcome to i-Club! Hope you enjoy your time here.

As for your first mod, it all depends on what you want to improve on your car first. (power, handling, looks, etc.)

First I'd like to say welcome. And secondly I suggest before any mods at all. Make sure all of your oem parts are maintained and in perfect working condition. Make sure all fluids are done. Brakes are good, and bushings are in great condition.

You can buy a full urethane bushing kit from Energy suspension. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...8_503168_5934_

And then once you have that then start worrying about mods. I'd say start with suspension and upgrade your drivetrain. once you're in working order to take care of any hp, start making power. That's just me though.

Best thing you can do for yourself is use the search button a lot on this forum/nasioc and find out everything you possibly can about your car and see what you want out of your car. You may want cosmetics, sound, handling, or speed. In the end it's all up to you. Once again welcome and have fun learning.

Cusco adjustable has great fitment for the 02/03 models. LIC in Novato typically has them in stock.

Not really, though I would stay with big name products such as Whiteline or Cusco. Essentially, stay away from no-name eBay stuff.

I'd personally go with Whiteline, just because they are equally as good as Cusco, and come out a little cheaper.

As for what Azer408 said, definitely check your OEM stuff first. Should fix the essential stuff first before moving on to the extras.

Reread this question.

As far as branding goes, not really. As for the difference between front and rear and/or size... it depends on what you want to do.

Rear is the easiest to describe. Going bigger in the rear will get your car to rotate or oversteer more. Going smaller would make your car understeer more.

As for front, it is kind of a trade-off between steering response and grip. Going bigger in front will give you better steering response at the cost of grip, and going smaller will give you the opposite effect.
