NOoo waaaay really? thats awesum..im actually trying to see where i can get in to a police department, either go through the training program for an officer, or do dispatching, but dont know where to look/start. my citys website doesnt give much info on what and where to start, they just offer positions for ppl who already went thru the whole program. I dunno how many ppl would take a girl seriously as a cop thou, but i wouldnt mind doing sumthing in that area, whether its out on patrol with a partner,or in the station, or csi kinda sh*t..pretty interesting....i dont look very intimiadating or manly like most other chick cops i see...im only like 5'3 lol

actually it's easier for females to get into the academy. Since there are so much need for them. Consider volunteering for a ride along program with the Police Department you would like to work at. First start by getting with a Police Recruiter; and ask about that special program. See if you like it; and if you do, I'm sure by that point you would know the process! There are so many openings right now, especially for females! Let me know if you need anything
