New Dude!
Hi Everyone!
I just picked up my first WRX a few months ago, and finally decided to join. Here's a shot from my phone, but I hope there will be changes in the future. Hahaha.

Thanks for the welcome and color compliment. There's so much stuff to look at on here. I was trying to do a search on here to find out more on jargon and stuff since I'm really new to the Subie world. Can anyone give me some direction?
Happy Friday!

I was days away from buying that car. Can't tell if yours is the premium trim or not. I was locked in but last minute I decided to stay with my bug eye and just throw an EJ257 in. blowing a bearing did of course help that decision but i went with it and shortly my car will be done at EQ. Ej257, VF39 with no w/g crack, STi TMIC, shimless 2.0 head swap, group-N motor mounts, act(i think) flywheel, Exedy clutch kit, Pink STi injectors and some other goodies. Stoked.

Yeah. Mine is a premium. At first I was just looking for an economical car and test drove an Impreza. I was amazed of the handling, and was drawn to a little more power. Dang it, but I love it. Hahahaha.

with very little mods you can get that thing a ton more power. In my experience, Ed @ EQ seems to like using a manual boost controller, XPT seems to like a GM boost solenoid for their off the shelf maps, Paul@ Dbtuned mentioned the ability to tune the stock parts efficiently. I'm a bit jealous you bought the exact car i was almost gonna buy but I think that will go away right after I get my car back from EQ. Not sure what you will need the windshield wiper heater for on the west coast but the sunroof, and heated seats will work nicely in the winter.. Great choice on the ride and welcome to i-Club.

welcome! I am mucho jealous of your car. I bought the 2.5i in 08 because i was low on cash and in desperate need of a car. I definitely got my moneys worth from it though. This is a great place to start if you have questions :-) I plan to get one of those myself later on of course :-)

but im happy with my 04 xD
