New to Cali
Hello iclub! I just moved back to sac from Oregon. It's been a while since Ive had a car with aftermarket parts and I don't want to get jammed up by the chp or local police. Can they inspect my engine and car for parts that are not legal?

The quick answer, Yes. The way you prevent them besides not driving in a manner that attracts them. Hood Locks and keep the key hidden. If they then want to see under the hood bad enough they will get a warrant to search. same with locking a glove box.
