New '12 WRX Owner

Watup everybody!

I just picked up a brand new 2012 WRX sedan in dark gray at Capitol Subaru two weekends ago. I have about 700 miles on her now. If anyone can let me know about upcoming meets in the South Bay would be great. I will prolly be modding this ride for performance in the summer

This is what my last ride looked like

Yea it is MHT, I live near there too. Thanks for the tip about curtner wingstop. I'll check it out after the holidays are over.

04caliwrx - Thanks for the input. I'll look for a deal on a AP now.

Should I get gauges to check my boost, oil temp, and water temp too?

Welcome! I would definitely get an AccessPORT first as well. You can use it to read a lot of vital information (boost, A/F ratio, etc.) It would be nice to have that additional information with the gauges, but I don't think it is necessary as long as you take care of the car.

Gauges are cool and all but the money could be used in other places getting you better results unless you like to have gauges to show off.. After the AP, a cat back or Turbo back would be a good investment.

I have no clue why Subaru would switch back to the chrome housing headlights after so much crap was being said about them in 06-07.

I say first mod should be opening those badboys up and painting them black
