My First Subaru

Well here it is, my '07 2.5i.

That pic was taken just before I drove it off the lot.

One month later, it already has 3600 miles!

It's bone stock, without a spoiler (perhaps I'll get one of the limited type lip spoilers someday). For now I'm just enjoying it as it is, I'll wait until my warranty is out before I do anything drastic to it. I'm honestly surprised at how well this thing handles, and even how it accelerates. You STI owners must have a huge challenge staying somewhat near the speed limit!

I've already had problems with the keyless chime, it broke two weeks into ownership, the warranty took care of it though. Here's hoping that's all I end up having trouble with!

I'm pretty new to this forum, and I guess this is my official hello to everybody. I really like how there definitely is a culture to driving, upgrading and maintaining Subarus. It seems like this is THE place for learning whatever you need to know about these cars.

After a friend brought me to the Mount Hamilton meet, I was convinced I wanted a Subaru. Now I can say I am a proud owner of an '05 Legacy GT Wagon!

Its just about everything I could want from a car for daily use. I would want some more power, but then it would cost too much for my long commute (35miles). I'm sure I'll upgrade it eventually... the possibilities are really endless. The only real issue I have with it (occasionally) is cargo space. Most of the time it's just me going to work, but if the lady and I want to take a vacation, it can get a bit tight for space (we're the type that brings a whole house for a weekend... the car is actually helping!).
