Angry I owned two subies, but i'm still noob

I recently got my car back from the body shop because I got into a accident. Right fender and head light damage, plus front bumper and hood. I was driving it around after the body shop did their stuff. I soon noticed my top radiator hose got busted. My 2005 sti is all stock. I had 47.700 miles on it when this happened. Is this due wear and tear issues because the body shop didn't want to cover this under their warranty, although they took out the radiator and hoses to fix my front end damage. I was wondering could it be their hose dressing (put black magic on hose to make it look shiny) they could have used to make my hoses wear out prematurely? The hose felt really soft. They insist they did nothing wrong. Kinda pissed off at body shop...

buy a new hose its only like 20 bucks. although you shouldn't feel like your the one who has to fix it, it will be better then having to deal with them again and getting a headache over it.

yea like hengman said, just buy one and have them do it real quick - but dont let them charge you. =). If they ask you to pay tell them it was fine before they fixed it and work something out with them.

Logically its obvious that it is 99% most likely their fault. Unfortunately you have nothing beyond circumstantial evidence, no actual proof that they did anything wrong. Fortunately its a cheap part to replace.
