Howdy....offroad racer new to the subi forum
Hello All,
My name is Mike, from Southern Cal. I am an offroad car/truck fabricator mechanic. I work on and prep Desert/CORR race trucks(until the series went under recently). I race Desert in my own truck when time and money permit, but I love off road racing and rally and Subaru's have always had a soft spot in my heart. I own a 08 WRX Premium Sedan that is the wifes DD and I drive a 02Ranger for my DD. If anyone needs anything welded, or fabricated (besides exhaust, im not a muffler shop) dont hesitate to PM me for a quote. Any suggestions on the brands of mod's to the 08 wrx are always helpful as I am still doing research. I am more concerned with handling and suspension mods then performance as I could give two $hits about how fast it goes in a quarter mile. Drag racing is for people with no driving talent so lets just get that out of the way right now... Thanks for your time and I appreciate all the feedback when I ask for it and hopefully I can help you out if need be.

Here's a couple of the truck
I actually rolled it a few months back so I have just been putting off putting a new roof on it as I have waaaaay too much time and money in it already.
The 08 WRX... she's bone stock, but I was going to put an intake on it for the first mod actually, any recommendations? I was leaning toward the Injen or K&N.

I know the intake doesnt do much for the car either, I just want to be able to hear the engine a little more as well as the turbo. Anyone have the Cobb sway bar and spring set up on an 08 wrx either??? I plan on auto crossing the hell out of this car, and I will definitely take it to pike's peak this year too. Its funny for the first week or so I loved the power and thought it was plenty, but a drive up to running springs made me want more. I definitely wish I would have bought one of these years ago.

I would suggest just getting a K&N drop-in filter and then remove the resonator box from your fender.
that will get you a bit more performance and also open up the intake so you can hear the turbo better
