Hey guys just joined the forum looking to meet some new fellow subaru enthusiasts. Got my first subaru 2 years ago and although its giving me some troubles, its been a load of fun to work on (minus the rust) and drive. Dont really have any good pics of my whole car right now but heres what the front looks like.

I go to the tracy meets and yes I know him. I do most of the work on his cars

welcome, come out to the central valley meets sometime we have them every 2 weeks all over the valley. check out the cv meet thread for dates and location

 

Can you help me.change my radiator? Lol.

 

It should be really straight forward.
Ive never actually pulled one out of a subaru before but Id imagine its along the lines of this:


Just drain the coolant from the rad.
Take the top and bottom radiator hoses off.
Remove the overflow hose from the rad
Pull the air intake scoop part (forget the name)
Remove 2 top radiator mounts
Disconnect the fan electrical connectors
Im not familiar with the bottom of the rad but most just pull out at this point.

 

One of these weeks Ill head down to one of them. The next one is at BWW correct?

 

These are the only far away shots I have when I first put my rims on. Im a bit lower than this now Ill snag some new pics soon.

 

Ill most likely be at the Tracy sonics meet at 8:30 if anyone wants to chill and talk subarus for a bit. I enjoy meeting new fellow subie owners.
