Hey guys I'm a subie newbie here, I'm working on trying to man up my car a bit and one of the things I'm looking at is making it sound better without voiding any warranties. From what I've read it seems like the thing to do would be to put on a new muffler or switch out the air intake, any help or suggestions are welcome!!!

I was just on another forum and someone said I should go for an axle back because it would save me money since I wasn't going for power, but sound. Any ideas on this guys???

 

yea go for an axleback

 

An axleback is not going to be very loud. Anything you do is going to have to be custom since nothing is made for your model.

Those are all generic mufflers than need to be welded to your exhaust.

 

Wasn't that already going to be necessary?
