Car Info: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Ltd.
Hello Subie Community!
I've been looking for a local (as in Sacramento-Roseville Corridor) group that is active in the Subaru Community. I am probably much older than most of you. But I have either raced or been involved with cars for over 45 years as a hobby. Although I own a number of high performance cars my Subaru is my latest adventure.
Currently, we have invested almost $25,000 in upgrades to our 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Ltd. I drive the car about one to two hours a week just for fun. My car cannot be registered in California because it is way to highly modified for the current CARB laws. Instead,we registered the car in Nevada.
Yes, the only parts of the car that we will be replacing in the future are converting to E-85 (about a 100 whp upgrade), converting to Brembo brake calipers and replacing all of the lights with LED units. Other than that the car has been completely rebuilt (chassis, engine and suspension) from the ground up with one goal, performance. Currently, on california gas the unit produces a strong 415 whp using an IPT heavy duty racing automatic transmission. Looking forward to meeting some of you folks at in & out in March! Bye for now.

Welcome to i-club! You should start a build journal so everyone can follow what you have done. People post that kind of thing over here:
