Hello from the East Bay

Hey folks. I have a silver 2002 WRX sedan. I have lurked here in the past but registering on the forum makes it easier to meet other Subaru owners/enthusiasts.

I bought the car last May from the original owner. The odometer just rolled past 129k but it still runs strong. It even has the original clutch.

I'm interested in learning autocross. And eventually I'd like to participate in a track day.

James

welcome man! You should think about coming out to some GGLC events. For the same price that you pay for a SCCA event you get about 3X as many runs.

http://www.gglotus.org/

My roommate and I go once a month. It's down in Monterey but a lot of fun. The event is limited to about 60 cars so everyone gets a lot of runs and it's a very close group of car enthusiasts.

If you are really interested, PM me or something because I would love to get more i-clubbers involved in gglc.

Oh yea, you don't need a lotus to run with GGLC haha
