Car Info: 2011 WRX STi - Sedan

Hey everyone, name is Santiago but go by Santa. I've been in the market looking around lately for a new or pre-owned car. Looked at some 350Z's, Evo's, and of course STi's/WRX's.

My decision has been final and I put a down deposit on a 2011 WR BP WRX STi..I've done research upon research and thought it would suit me the best. Plus having a trade in and a low insurance made me lean towards the STI more than the WRX.

I currently drive a Blue 1995 Eagle Talon AWD.

Then I almost had some bad news..dealer mentioned that there was only 1 WR BP in New England, but the dealer who had it was holding it for his son. -.-

Then they mentioned that there were only 4 in the Nation, but a lot further..so they offered me another color choice. Which I did not want to begin with, but I threw them Graphite Gray and Satin Pearl White.

They did not have anything SPW in the area..but they did have GG. So about 25 minutes after I left the dealership unsatisfied with the color, but satisfied about the car. The salesmen called me back and informed me his GM had called and told them a WR BP had arrived at Boston Harbaaarrr. 0 miles.. so they're transporting the car on a flatbed and I should be going on Monday morning to finish all the necessary paperwork. xD

Phew..glad I got to go with my original color choice. Say hello to $$ /60mo. payments.

Anyways..I'll be posting up again shortly..stick around!

Nice! Good to know you are getting the car you wanted and the color. Post up pics when you get it. And welcome to the community.

You should make an appointment to have a clear bra put on the car as soon as you pick it up. Seriously, you should have it done on the way home. Subaru paint is terrible! I have a grey 08 and the paint is pretty chipped up with only 37k.

Welcome!

Welcome!

I'm right on top of it! I had already called a few days ago about doing it at a local shop. Quoted me around $400 to do it..which I know and have heard that the Subaru paint is not up to par in quality and long lasting.

Thanks for the heads up. :]

Finally got it in my driveway today..just took one picture.

Picked it up with 7 miles on the car.

By the way I have a dash light on {!} from what I read in the manual is that it's caution. Going to have to check it out tomorrow and inspect what the actual problem is..if I can't then I'll bring it back to the dealer.

Cell phone quality FTW.
