First Subaru, first AWD.. Bought it today actually. Just been a Civic girl before this. Stupid me decided to test drive a WRX just because, and ended up buying it all of 4 days later. Like I needed something that's turbo, hah! So, now I'm after good suspension and sway bars. The goal is to take it to the local track on an open day and fool around a bit without being a total idiot about it. Anyway, I'm down in southern VA, the oddball out because most everyone here are rocking the SI's or S2000's.. There's a few Evos, even fewer WRX or STi. Kinda leaves me not really into the "know how" of the WRX scene, after some advice/tips to beef up my stock WRX.

There's a Flowmaster exhaust on it now, was there when I bought it. I think I will just leave it for now.. VA is really strict on car law, and anything bigger/louder will get me pulled quick.
Sway bars are on my list.. I think the size is 24? 25? I just started the research into it.
I don't know if I want to drop it an inch or not. What is everyone's opinion on that?
And thanks for all the welcomes I have a feeling I'm going to be on here asking a ton of questions. Gotta get educated on this Subaru!

Thanks glen, now I just have to figure out which springs... Whiteline, I will keep that in mind while I'm hunting the bars down.
Hey Electra, thanks! Um. Can my legs just remain virgins? Hah.
I'm glad there are girls on here! I'm tired of being stuck with just guys :/

I too am a first time Subaru owner and fell into the trap of a test drive.

And thanks, I completely agree. I need to get some pics of this thing up. I've had a great time today showing up the guys in town
