If you don't want drone I'd suggest getting a catted downpipe with a resonated mid-pipe section. Will be nice and rumbly but not ricer loud. Hope this helps!

this. look at a catted CNT or ERZ downpipe. they're not as expensive as other brands like invidia but still fit perfectly with no problems for me. as for the catback depends on what youre looking for whether it be looks or fitment.

theres youre perrin downpipe right there! as for fitment you'll be fine you wont have to tamper with it as long as you get an aftermarket catback to go with it. if you put the downpipe with your stock catback you may need a 3"-2.5" adapter.

and nope no problems whatsoever. i have a little drone because im running the invidia n1 race and i have no resonators or flex pipe so its supposed to be on the loud side. make sure you have engine management though.

you want to make sure the flanges are the same, between the DP and the cat-back.

example: perrin dp is flat flange, cobb cbe is donut flange. they won't mate up properly. i'd say, get the 3" flat flanges, but most muffler shops have them on-hand and can cut and weld in about 10-15 mins tops if they know what the hell they are doing. go 3" all the way back.

the blackhole will consume you, the blackhole of endless modifications, that is...

have fun!

i personally have a tomei gtspec uel header to perrin catted 1pc divorced bellmouth dp to cobb cbe. sounds nice, not too loud. no resonator either. you want quiet?, stay stock.

but... you will get a drone noise at certain RPMs.

if i was you, i'd look at a maddad whisper or a borla hush cbe if you want quiet but still have a high flow cat. catless = loud.

not necessarily true...

need to make sure the flanges are the same.

the invidia tbe is what did it, not the headers. he probably had catless too... catless are wayyyyyy louder.

my headers actually made it a bit quieter imo with my new tune.

you can dynamat the interior floorboard as well if you want quiet.

wagons are going to be louder in the cabin than sedans.

just get a louder stereo! LOL

GST Motorsports in Hayward. or if more north, EQ Tuning in Fairfield (Travis).

that's what you say now... lol

get ngk or denso iridium (one step colder)

aem cai (carb exempt) only cai i think too.

tgv deletes? I just sold mine! nah. but check Grimmspeed.

i'd prob get turbo inlet as well, 3mm phenolic spacers.
