Hey whats up!!! Im Bryan and Ive had my bugeye for almost half a year. Loving every bit of it and im glad i picked it up. Ive been researching on coilovers to lower my car but of course everyone have their own oppinion on different ones. Well if anyone can suggest me what coilovers to pick up it would be helpful. Im using my car as a daily drive. And im looking to spend under $800 if possible any suggestion?

This is a little outdated, but might be of some help.

$350? They go for $429 and everything is still new in the box like you would get it from GC. I was going to install them but decided to go a different route. Get yourself some koni inserts and you'll have one of the best shock/spring combo set up.

If, and only if, you are ready to sacrifice comfort for low then you can pick up a set of used BC or stance coilovers for that price. There will be people who tell you that any coilovers that cost less than 2k new are garbage, ignore them. Unless you plan on tracking your car spending more is really unnecessary.

Dang, kw's cost atleast 2k. As a broke college student, I sure couldn't afford that. Nothing wrong with a quality shock/ spring combo which would be more like $1,200-1,500 max.
It also depends on your goals.

Im rolling on KW's at the moment ...but if you budget is about the 800 ballpark. hit up a vendor regarding a set of ISC coilovers. I'd say they pretty good for what they are worth. If they blow after awhile its only $95 to replace per shock. yea. REPLACE, not rebuild.
Rolling on the KW V3's right now and let me tell you the Germans know what's up! Fully adjustable and feels smooth like my stock set up. They are going to cost over 2 grand new, but if you can save up the dough it's a nice purchase. If 800 is all you have to work with I would just toss that money into the tranny/engine fund for when that day comes
It's QQ thankyouverymuch
