Almost gave up the subie, but then I didnt
Hello I-Club!
I bought my wrx bugeye wagon a year ago. Less than 6 months later i started having overheating problems....leaking headgasket. This car was supposed to be the upgrade from my celica, which managed to kill 2 engines. After saving for a few months(part-time swim coach), I was tired of waiting. I almost sold the car to buy a miata....
My friend let drive his 04 wrx to shake me out of my idiocy. I'd forgotten how much fun it was! $2800 later with a new clutch and headgaskets, I remembered my turbo was shot. At idle i have -.8 mpa and at "full boost" i get a whopping .3 mpa. I dont mind though, im just glad to have my car up and running again.
Now that I know I'm keeping by subie I'm going to get p&p and coated td04, uppipe, and headers and a professional tune. Thats all i have planned for now, but we'll see
