2006 sti dccd question

Hi everyone I just got a 2006 sti. Owned a bugeye wrx previously. Had a question regarding dccd. If left in automatic does it matter where the dial to the left of the dccd button is set at? If so what should I set it at for daily driving? Thanks

nope. when its left it auto, the computer simply decides how much torque to send to the front or rear of the car. most people dont really use the dccd in manual unless they lock it up for like snow or mud etc.
