I am not sure, but I dont think I have seen any of Kris's postings on this particular board yet, although I guess its possible that he may have registered under another name ?
Perhaps someone might want to e-mail him the link ???
Do you really have to register in order to become a moderator ?
Given how infrequently Kris posted last summer & fall on the old NASIOC NESiC forum (while registered as a moderator), I dont think it should be a requirement, although ultimately others whos job situations were not as demmanding eventually managed to weasle Kris out of his job as moderator there. My general impression is that given the number of postings, and how relaxed and mature most of the posters are, there just isn't much need of all that much administrative duties here. Also I think Kris is an excellent moderator, and I really look forward to reading some of his posts.
Perhaps setting him up as a moderator here might encourage others to also ask to become moderators ?

in order to be anything you have to register..
atleast i know that to be true of the software on the other board.
who knows possibly this one, with out even having kris as a record in the database will know who he is and know that he's a moderator.. and because he'd have no record he'd never have to log in.. it'd just magically know who he is and through telepathy he could tell the server that he wants a post locked or moved.
I'm being completely sarcastic.
yes.. you have to register to become a moderator.
bugger, it's raining.. I wake early to go take a walk along the Charles river and of course it's raining.

Do you have to Register to be a moderator....tell me I didn't read that right. How did you manage to get the computer on again? Common sense would most likely tell you that registering on a board would be a good 1st step in doing ANYTHING on the board, let alone being a moderator on it.
As far as Kris not being on the board due to his job being more Demanding......Last I checked....he was unemployed. Maybe it wasn't so much people "weasleing" him out of the position so much as him just not wanting to take such an active roll. Kris is an excelent Mod, and a great person, but don't count on seeing him post here.

*sigh* scratches*smells finger*
I don't understand it. My wife wont buy any sexy see thru clothes, yet her bathing suit is see thru when wet. Its not a pretty sight but its all I have to look at.
And another thing. Whatever happened to miniskirts? Those are way sexier than those bellbottoms girls are wearing these days.
What kind of chickens does boneless chicken meat come from?

Nay !
BTW I dunno how to be a moderator.
And besides, I finally ran outta money and decided to swallow my pride and accept a $9/hr job providing transportation services for handicapped folks (I get to drive around all day in a huge Dodge van, known in MBTA circles as 'The Ride'). This means I really cant be loggin' on in here and moderating the 3-4 postings this forum receives every day, but thanks for thinking of me just the same.
Oh and its finally started snowing again some as well, too !
PS.
I do (contrary to what other have posted) fully understand the basic concepts of "register", "log on", and "post".

or was that a seperate personality, thus referring to it as "what other people posted"
Sounds like a personal problem.
Even still, you may claim to understand posting and technical things of that nature. Sarcasam is a slippery one.

...), so he should be the guy! KC, what do you think? Good idea? We'll just have to have some wooden body parts available.
