West Barrington? I thought it was just 'Borington'.

Not I. I've only had my suby since April of 04'. I see a couple of suby's on the way to work every morning. One is a 02-03 WRX silver just like mine. He's waved at least once to me. The other is an old lady driving an 04 Impreza. It looks just like the WRX except no hood scoop.

I know it probably won't happen for a while, but the next time they have a car show at Garden City we should get some people to meet up.

Last car show I went there during the summer I saw a silver STI. I never heard a suby sound like that before. It sounded nasty. Looked like it was a bit lowered too. I hadn't really started to mod mine at that time but seeing that car sure made me want to start.

At this point, I would settle for a sunny saturday or sunday so I could go for a nice drive. This weather has been so sh@tty lately. I don't think my car has been clean for over a day so far. What can you do its RI.

Yep, if it's the Summer 2001 meet... one of them was me.. with the cookout and all that, right???... also there was Fishguy, ginseng, rkkwan, grandpa rex, joebloggz23, dexter, jgard and a few others....

NASIOC.com used to be I-Club before the split. (Still is if you ask me.)

By the way, I was with ClubSi from the beginning, so I know all the history, but what is with this split of iclub and nasioc that you speak of?

Around 2002, Alex (the owner of this Forum) and Nick (who had/ran the servers for "I-club") had a disagreement. Alex took the i-club.com domain name and started this forum.

I-Club was just the url used for NASIOC.com... so when Alex took it, he didn't take all the information from the forum itself (this is why you can only search back to 2002.. nothing before that exists.) Wheras on NASIOC, that forum has been since '99 and al the information since then was retained.

Most everyone stayed at nasioc.com, especially those in New England. Those that knew Alex (west coast) followed Alex to his new forum... which he has control over the old most popular domain name.

If you went to the New ENgland forum on Nasioc.com, you'll see it's 100x more active than here, along with all the other forums with the exception of the west coast Local forums.. becuase for the most part, they're over here.

So if you're looking for local info, meets, etc.... in New England, Nasioc.com is the place to be. Nothing against here... it's just that hardly anyone from New England or many other places in the country agreed with what Alex did and stayed with Nasioc. Only those that knew him personally moved.

Just looking at the 1st page here, there's still a 12/18/04 post on the 1st page. Head to the New ENgland forum on Nasioc and the 1st page is just posts from today/yesterday. It's VERY active over there vs. over here.

Used to to be a member of nasioc. I actually got my account deleted for punking off one of the moderators. I belonged there for a little bit, but grew tired of the many @ss clowns on that site.

I read a post on nasioc where a member who worked for SOA was forwarding info about other members who modded (raced, etc.) their cars.He was trying to get their warranties voided. After writing a scathing reply to him I received a warning from a moderator from nasioc in an email. I proceeded to tell that moderator what I thought of him/her and their lame *** site. Next thing I know, my account was deleted (go figure).

No offense but it seems the people here are a little less tense, a little more laid back and generally more friendly . I'll take i-club over nasioc any day.
