Good dealerships in CT?
So I just bought a 2002 WRX, and I'm wondering what the best dealership in CT is for basic service and warantee work (for if/when I need it). I'm in West Hartford (work in Middletown). Mitchell, Schaller, and Suburban are all pretty close to me. Are any of them any good, or is it worth going someplace farther?
quality subaru in wallingford is where i bought mine...i went to schaller too and wasnt impressed by their sales peopel...didnt seem like they cared if they got a sale or not but i got a free ride in a wrx so that was good lol
I've dealt with Chase Parkway in Watertown for all my sales and service. It's nice to find a dealer where you can see the same faces. They started selling subies in the 70's and the parts manager has been there since they started with Subaru.
I had a really, REALLY bad experience with Mitchell Subaru when I had my 99 OBS. I would avoid them like the plague.
I had brakes on that car that burned through pads every 12,000 miles and the service manager (Ogden I believe) said that I was "obviously driving like a maniac". He told us that the car was 100% OK. After getting the pads changed for the third time right around 36,000 miles, I traded cars with my father to see if it really was me, and he killed them in around 14,000 miles. I went 96,000 miles before I needed the front pads changed on my Integra, so it's definately not my driving. Definately some bull**** going on there, either they didn't want to take the time to find the problem in that car, or they weren't competent enough to find the problem.
