Dealers around New England
Hey anyone on a waiting list for an STi around New England?
I'm on a few but always looking for a better price...specially now seeing the STi will def. be over 30k.

The chances of being able to haggle on a limited car are pretty slim. I go to Secor Subaru in New Londoon CT and they are telling me to expect around 32k. The dealer I've bought 3 cars from says that the price is going to be pretty firm. Now i havent really shopped around but there is another dealership about 20min away so I've been able to play them off each other but I'm not expecting it this time.

Well, seeing the STI is going to be around $32,000, what do u guys think the Evo is going to go 4?? I have heard anywhere from $30,000 to $39,000!!! Regardless of the price, I would certainly not buy that car, I would buy the STI 100 times over. What do u guys think??

I put a deposit down on an STI today at Subaru of Wakefield , I picked up my 2001 RS there for $300 over invoice,I know there will be no deals this time but was told expected MSRP was going to be about 30-31k with no mark up,they really don't have any info on them so I hope it is not much more or an Evo may be in my future the specs from its release Friday were more detailed ,it doesn't have a 6spd. or active differentials but still alot of car for the money.

Suburban Subaru Vernon,CT
Suburban Subaru in Vernon, CT is now taking orders on STI. The more orders we get the more we will get. $1,000 deposit will get you an order in writing for MSRP. Just call Jeremy Elkins at Suburban Subaru (860)649-6550.
Thankyou,

It's worthwhile to call around to dealers every week or so. Some of the dealers here have been taking deposits and putting people in line. Once they get the call that it's time to come in and sign the sales agreement, many are dropping off the list and taking their deposit back. If a dealer hasn't taken a list, they might be sitting with an allocated car and no solid order....meaning that they are about to lose the allocation.
