i live in new hartford, in vail for the winter, but when i get back i will def be up for meeting. people around the area know me for sure, we go to the pike a lot. peace matt

 

I live in Newington, but I have a buddy in Winsted and I spend a lot of time up there in the summer. I have been to a few I-Club and ClubWRX meets and hope to go to a lot more.

I have not been here much over the winter, but I will check it out for upcoming meets.

Keep checking there is a guy that i just replied on his post that is trying to get a meet going in torrington ct. Let me kn ow whoi s interested on here that wants to go.

I live in Shelton, goto school at West Conn and my uncle used to be the mayor up in Plymouth and Terryville where ur near (Rich Corvello). I am down for a meet anywhere, let's put a date on it... Maybe this weekend or is that too short of notice for every1????

I saw on new england forum walzerm started a thread about a torrington meet. I posted twice this weekend on the thread and hasnt replied back. He says he knows a few subie owners and the few of us on this thread should be a good turn out. The weather as you know isnt cooperating at all. More snow in forcast for monday. I also would like the meet on sunday since i work construction and we are starting to get busy and we work alot of saturdays but i am flexible. I am trying to give the guy walzerm that started a torrington meet thread a chance to contact me or post on his thread so i can see when it will be good for him and who he has coming. If we dont set a date soon then we will pick a time on this thread to meet up. We can meet at torrington high school or old ames parking lot with the center subaru dealership right there or a commuter lot. If push comes to shove i have a long drive way that can fit 15-20 cars with some work if the cops tell us to move. Since i bought my rex end of summer last year i didnt get to go to many meets but this year i am game. So glad there is some interest on this thread and we will definetly get together soon when it warms up.

I dont wanna sound stupid but what exactly are meets?? a place to just go and show off your car and meet people?? Sorry I'm new to all this and just dont know

 

meets aret o meet other subie owners and see their cars and mods and listen to them. Meet new friends and hang out with cars. Some times w e can cruise or what ever. We will pick a day to meet up soon. Theyare informal and fun. Hope to see you there.

walzerm emailed me back last night. He asked for some suggestion and where to meet in torrington. I told him torrington high school or staples old lot near subie dealership. My drive way is long if cops are a problem i can fit 10-12cars no problem. If we have a meet this sunday at say the high school who will come. Trying to get a heads up who i s interested and if the weather is nice. I went to one meet in like february at the waterbury mall and it was cold and the only ones that showed up was me and the guy who started the thread.

When i hear back from walzerm ill let you all know for sure but i like to get a meet going soon. Ill keep everyone posted
