I just got the springs in today and they are not for MY02 wrx. These springs are for Impreza GC8 (1993-2001 Impreza). These will not fit my car properly nor give me the drop I was looking for. I have no use for these springs if they are not for my car. I think in all fairness I deserve my refund back since it was advertised for MY02 impreza and I will ship these springs back to you. The springs for MY02 are light blue with different spring rates and drop that the ones you sent me which are colored red designed for the GC8.

well they are not for GC8 nor are they for WRX they are infact designed for STI's. The part number on the spring is US4/D5/001.

I have pmed seller several times and I have agreed to try and sell them ifI can not sell them I will be asking for a refund and I will ship these back to mastros2. I havent had a response from mastros2 yet, if he ignores me in the next couple days I will be filing a dispute on paypal to get my refund back. Sucks when you pay for something and it turns out it isn't the right one.

Bringndefinito,
I sent you pictures of the springs as you requested. I did not know that they are for an sti as you point out (which I do not believe you on). I bought springs for my car (MY2002 WRX), as the invoice states that I sent you. If the srpings are for a sti, then prodrive made the mistake. Also, why didn't you check the model number of the springs when I sent you the pictures before sending me payment????? You did receive the pictures, didn't you?
Anyone on the forums will state that these are a better spring. If they are truley for an sti, then you got a deal for $240. They sell for $340!!! All you will need is stock sti top hats which could be bought for $25 shipped (less than the difference between the sti and wrx spring price).
If you do not want to go that route, try to sell the springs on your own. I do not want to be a jerk, but I will not honor a refund. I am not a vendor, store or anyone else in the retail business. I am a consumer just like you. Again, I did not know that the springs were for a sti. I purchased the springs and intended to put them on my car but did not have the time thus that is why I sold them.
I am not out to burn anyone, but I lost money on this deal. If I knew that they were for a sti, do you really think that I would have sold them for $240??? Nope, I would have tried to sell them for what I bought them for...$290. Again, you got a steal. I would have not sold them for that price. I lost out here.
