not to kill your thread but most subaru dealers dont accept them unless its under your name now. Maybe the online vendors wouldnt mind but thats what Renick Subaru told me.

That is more like the exception than the rule. 90% of the people that have posted here or on NASIOC have been able to use them as long as they are all in the same name, and if you have a letter from the original owner stating that they were purchsed/given in good faith.
