Eotech say's to go through Brownells or Lonestar which I used. Makes it so there is no issues with battery connectivity when rounds are fired. Fits nice and snug!

Right on. I have one on my SOCOM 16 and it turns off every time I fire it. Great sight though. Wish I had spare $ to pick yours up and put on another weapon.
