The head unit I was using was a pioneer 8000 with a motorized face plate. I thought it was going bad, because the music would randomly cut out, so I replaced it and sold my old car with the new head unit in it. However, when I installed the new head unit I was getting the same problem, but then I found a bad ground connection so it leads me to think the old pioneer head unit may still be good. If you interested in it I could let it go pretty cheap and give you a 30 day money back gurantee in case it dies on you. I will try to get some pics of the subs, but they look exactly like the ones in the link above.
