hey I like both the units but the japanese unit would fit me much better...however...I see you mentioned the radio station issue and I didn't consider that they might use different frequencies making that unit useless for radio usage. not that i listen to the radio that much, but still.

so fill me in. can it catch u.s. radio stations or no?
