I got a flat today on the way into work today (huge pothole on Stephenson Hwy) and then my donut was dead as well. This absolutely figures after I agree to work friday night so I could do this tonight. I hope you get this before 6:30 pm. So as we speak my WRX is at the tire warehouse and I just spoke to them and they won't be able to get me a new tire until tomorrow. To make matters worse they said the rim is a little bit bent now. mother$#%^#@# @%$#$%^$^ #*&$^@.

I'm sorry Tug I really am. This pisses me off.

 

Well I hope the wheel can be fixed, although no damage would be better. Sorry about the flat, bad luck always comes when you have something important to do! That's life I guess. I will still be out there late tomorrow (maybe today I don't know). Are you running on the stock wheels or are they aftermarket?

 

They are rota sub-zeros. I already talked to suby dude in CA and he can get me just one rim but it would be costly. Hopefully I don't need to replace it right away so I can save some $$. I may be out later tomorrow night as well so maybe we can meet up then. All depends on when I get out of work tho. Hey maybe we should start a meet every couple of weeks somewhere? Who knows maybe someone would have some interest?

A meet every couple of weeks sounds good. Did you know that the guys over on NASIOC meet every week at Buffalo Wild Wings in novi. I went once but have not been able to go in about a year. It seems that something comes up every time I say I am going to be there. Maybe if we started one from I-club more people would start responding to theads in the mid-west forums. I'll be at work until 3:15-3:30 ish today, after that I don't know when I will be at woodward (fridays are alway up in the air until the last min.).

 

Yeah I think I knew that. I had a bad experience on NASIOC when I first got my subaru and I haven't been back since. I think the people are much nicer on I-Club. Although I'm sure there are some on I-Club who are the same way. I had asked a question on NASIOC and had gotten a bunch of flak about being a n00b and asking a stupid question and so I came here and asked the same question and got a few good reply's before someone knocked me for not knowing my stuff. It is a petty way to judge but you know what they say about first impressions. Plus I like not getting censured!

BTW - My neighbor (sedona red pearl sedan owner) let me have a set of his old RE950's so I got tires last night and they are going on today but I am supposed to work tonight so we will see how it goes. My parents were out in there 66 Malibu last night and said it was insane the amount of people that were out there last night.
