I live in Toledo OH and work in Taylor MI and I need to find a good place to have a tranny fixed on my 02 WRX. Here's my story about 3 months ago I had it in to the dealer to perform the TSB for the popping out of reverse problem. I wasn't thrilled about them cracking into the tranny, but they wouldn't replace it whole. Now I've noticed that it is leaking fluid from the right front axle seal. I am guessing that they compromised the seal when they worked on it and now that its cold its leakinig. It was hard shifting when the weather got cold and I took it in a month ago at about 59000 miles and they stated nothing was wrong. Now I'm at 61000 miles and they won't do anything for me because they said that the tranny and the work done on it under the TSB was only good until 60000 miles. Most other work done is warrentied for 1 year or 12000 miles (they say) but not this. Any advise would be helpful. I posted this in the midwest forum 'cause I figured people in this area might know of a dealer that might help me out or at least a good tranny shop. Please help me and thanks in advance.
