I nominated Pat to be a moderator in here, and asked Alex about me being one as well. I don't care if he makes me one or not. Pat on the other hand has been on i club for several years, and probably is the longest I-club member that currently lives in Indiana.

You go where the action is. At the time, we had a really robust group of folks on Oahu who very aggressively went to the track at every opportunity and that had a HUGE knowledge base of modifying/building/tuning smarts.
I weighed the encyclopoedia (sp) that is Nasioc vs. not being able to talk tech with my friends (who'd come up to my house at the drop of a hat) and my friends won out.
Of course, I knew nasioc wouldn't be going anywhere.
