The First Annual Mods and Rods Charity Car Show!
Do you like to show your car? If so, there is a new show in town!
What? The First Annual Mods and Rods Charity Car Show
When? Saturday, August 2, 2003. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Where? Ellingson Car Museum, Rogers, Minnesota. www.ellingsoncarmuseum.com
All makes, models, and years are invited. Twenty-four trophies will be awarded in 10 categories, including three Peoples' Choice Awards for Best Classic, Best Contemporary - Domestic, and Best Contemporary - Import.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Youth Jam, an annual program sponsored by MADD Minnesota that allows high school students to hear the stories of people whose lives have been touched by drinking and driving. Youth Jam gives Minnesota high school students the tools to be leaders in their community in sending a message about responsible driving and the consequences of under-age drinking. None of the funds raised as a result of this show will go toward covering administrative costs for MADD.
There will be vendors on hand and several informational booths including "Ask a Cop" and "Ask a Mechanic".
You can register to show your car at www.modsandrods.com for $15. There are also VIP spots available. Check the website for more information.
If you aren't interest in showing your car, you can come out to support a good cause and to see some beautiful cars for just $5!

The First Annual Mods and Rods Charity Car Show is finally here! The show is this Saturday, August 2nd at Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers, Minnesota. Ellingson is located off of 94 (West from the Twin Cities) at exit 207. Here are the detailed directions:
I-94 West to Rogers, MN (Exit Hwy 101).
Turn north on Hwy 101 (Right if you're coming from Mpls), then right again on the frontage road.
Go approximately 1/4 mile. (You can see us from I-94.)
The show starts at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. We will be giving away 24 gorgeous trophies starting at 4:00 p.m. After the trophy ceremony, we will be giving away over $4,700 in door prizes, including a week stay in Costa Rica!
We have worked hard to make sure that this is an enjoyable and meaningful event. We promise that this will be a car show you will never forget!
