Well, it looks like the month of may is just jam packed with stuff to do.
Lizard, Dragon, Shootout, Codean's BBQ, and now a dyno day smack dab in the middle of it all.
Ron and I are talking Saturday and Sunday for either UTEC tunes, or AccessECU tunes (tentative based on if the folks over there are on time in delivering the software to us).
Obviously there will be room for those who just want to do straight dyno pulls for their cars.
Exact costs are to be determined, but as always, it'll be competative and fair for everyone. There are a few people I know who should be making some VERY IMPRESSIVE figures on the dynos and I can't wait to see how they perform.
This is timed perfectly since the very next weekend is the Midwest Shootout, so your car will be as close to perfect as it can be.
Currently we're thinking two days, but if it needs to be friday as well, then so be it. I'll just head down for an extra day to handle tunes.
Obviously there is no commitment, but if there are people looking for tunes, we're going to allow 2 hours per vehicle, figure a 10 hour day, so I'd like to setup a schedule of sorts here. Please feel free to post up if you'd like to attend, do baseline pulls, or actual tunes, and what EMS you'd be interested in.
Figure your doing 2-3 cars per hour on baselines.
---------------------
Current News:
1: Should have AccessPort capabilities by late April.
2: Little birdie told me that USDM STI UTEC's should be available by 05/01/04
3: STI UTEC's should be the same price as WRX UTEC's
4: Please don't ask about sales or price, cause as it stands I'm pushing good ettiquete with other registered vendors. Support your local registered vendor, or in a pinch, feel free to contact myself or Axis Power Racing if you were unable to get what you needed.
5: Please make sure your car is in order by the time you get on those rollers.
If your a UTEC user, I'll be flashing you to 4.2 at the least by the time you get up there, so if you don't want to eat into your time by having me do that, then do the flash on your own time once 4.2 comes out publically.
If stage 4 people need something to drive in the mean time I can develop a simple low powered, low boost base map for a stage 4 car and open loop fueling and post it and the directions for use on my site, once the software is officially released.

Yes, this is quickly turning out to an event packed year!
EDIT: Let me clarify for the flash people. Unless I'm mistaken (I'll find out for sure), you need an AccessPORT. To be able to load a different map, not just the AccessECU, as it does not support the ability to reload a map.
Those who are requesting Access services, please confirm that you have, need, or are getting an AccessPort.
