Hey,

Just got my 2003 WRX... anyone else go out to Streets of Woodfield on weekends? I used to run with Eclipses out there, we'd meet on the top of the Lowe's parking garage.

In any case, I'd like to meet up with some of the WRX locals.. post a follow up if you're interested.

 

What zipcode is woodfield in? Where is it?

 

It's at the intersection of the East-West Tollway (kennedy Expwy) and Route 53, in Schaumburg. In the summer there is a bunch of cars and people there (yeah mostly younger) but there are also quite a few nice cars there. I remember once I was in a group of about 9 eclipses and we all drove by in a row... lots of looks from that one! Why not with WRX's?

Ya might wanna try asking this over at impreza.net A group of 30 odd subaru guys meet up at a Dennys in addison every thrusday to hang out and chat cars. once the weather gets better we will be moving back to our summer hangout of the old navy parking lot off golf near 53.

its no so much that schaumburg is out of the way... its one of the few spots we can all go to and are actually allowed to stay at

 

I've been out to woodfield before and its pretty cool, but does anyone ever race out there. Don't get me wrong i like to see some nice rides but nothin beats the adrenaline rush of a good street race. pm me.

 

i live in ohio, but when i was visiting a friends in Arlington Heights and Skokie, we went to woodfield and there were lots of cars, only a couple wrx's tho, someone has a yellow and black one, and there's a solid black one with aftermarket exhaust and rims i think

 

.....so does anyone ever race there?
