what the hell??? this is something i've dreamed about doing my whole life! i'm not going into this blindly! i know that sh** that the government plays on their troops and i know the lies! i grew up aroud it my whole life, (dad being a veteran) so i'm not as "ignorant" of it as you think!

some people don't like the life and can't wait to get out, thats cool i'm not one of those and i'll comeback on here in 5 months after i'm done with training and still be singing the same song! i have nothing to loose anyway! i'm not leaving thing but my parents and well...my beautiful car! lol i don't have a girl anymore and all my friends are all gay.

and i cannot wait to go and serve a term or two overseas

yeah you should and you should send me a sympathy gift in the form of a CF hood! or new heads for a 2.5rs! then i would be happier now that my life is destroyed by the united states army!

 

All I'm saying is that military life has it's ups and downs. and you almost always start off on a down.

Make Sgt. after a couple of years and then it gets a bit better. Unless you've got a 4 year and are starting off as a butter bar. then life ain't so bad form the start.

Officer life > Enlisted life... by a lot.

 

i was going to go in to be a warrent officer and fly an apache but i changed my mind and now i'm going to be a combat engineer.

i said that comment cause it seems as though everyone i know besides my parents, think that i don't know what i'm getting myself into, and its kinda starting to bug me. the military isn't for everyone and the army isn't for some of those people. I not narrow minded. thats all i want people to understand cause the majority of the people i know, know less about the garbage than me.
