In VA looking to get dirty
Hey whats up guys! I live around the fairfax area and I really want to take my subie off road. Unfortunately the only things I can find are construction sites. Do you guys know of any places to get my subie coated in mud?

You gotta look and hook up with some of the local boys that motocross or off-road trucks.
I'll do some searching for ya and get back with viable options, links, contacts ASAP.
I take my '92 Legacy sedan AWD off-road every chance I get when I go paintballing locally. The access roads for all the local locations except for VAG are relatively fun though not challenging.

I play tournament ball and captain two teams, 'TBD' which is the '01 & '02 3-Man rookie/novice champions (Hogback & Pev's) and placed second in the recent 'VA Pursuit Cup Series' while my other team 'BatleMagic' is a Hogback sponsored "select" team of ref's only that compete in semi-auto tournaments using only pump markers.
If you ever want to go just let me know as I take friends, relatives and work associates all the time.

I'm the black guy with the 'Excalibur' & the 98C thats crazy tricked out and runss a military only laser based heads-up display. system on the rail.
Usually the kids spend day trying to cap me as I have a rep for being extremely sneaky, sly & quiet in the woods (i.e. 'Dk. Forest' & 'Mini-Bunkers') also I'm known to sprint the entire length of the Castle field with the flag and not get shot. Almost twenty years of competitive track & field events and a liftime of firearms use results in an 'old guy' with fast legs and very good aim.

PM me for more info or buzz me at the 'baller hangout, 'PBNation.com' under my screenname.

I used to practice every Thursday afterwork & weekend religiously but after my daughter was born last December its been tough to find the time/energy to maintain such a schedule. Now I'm down to practicing once or twice per month plus a tourney. I practice snap shooting weekly though in a 'range' I setup in my basement and visit the firearms range (Blue Ridge Arsenal behind Check-It) once per month.
Hey, BTW keep your calendar open for the last weekend in Septemeber. Jim is planning a _huge_ scenario game at Hogback named after my team called "Battle Magic". I will be starring as 'Merlin the Wizard' (General) and I'm going to be really mean and 'evil' leading a group of marauders against the powers of good. Our 'mission' will be to attack, secure and hold various 'forts' and the 'Castle' all the while capturing various fairies, trolls and general do'ers of good.
It'll be like no scenario game you've seen yet at Hogback and it'll be BIG as all...even bigger than the last event 'Mars Attacks'.
We are currently in the planning stages and all the key players including myself will be dressedin costumes for the event. Jim is super jazzed about it and I was just talking with him yesterday at Check-iT about the planning. Its going to be a blast so save up cash for entry & air now. More info and announcements will come as we get closer to the event date. You heard it here first...

PM me your e-mail address and I'll add you to a mailing list I maintain with Rodney (owner of Hogback) that keeps all the 'regulars' looped as to whats going on at the field.
