chmod go+wrx test.sh

Its a unix command.

it means, change the mode of the file test.sh so that Group members and the Owner can Write, Read, and eXecute it.

Oh, and your explanation may be off depending on what ver of *nix.

u=user
g=group
o=other

So your command would have made the file wrx for group and other (world).

I dropped Unix after the second semester in college, so I'm a Unix idiot.

The command sounds like you are giving the green light for the WRX to go, but still testing the honda prelude type SH.
