i failed at texaco, because my tint on the front windshield came down too far. the damn tard in knee pads said that the legal limit was only like 3 inches, he siad mine was 6 or 7, he never measured it. my rex doesnt have that damn "A" or that line. you know? anyway, where can i get my car inspected to pass this damn tint? PM , please,

ps. the dork didnt say anything about my tint being too dark, its 20%, and neither did the cop last week , when i got pulled over. and ive seen other cars that come with factory tinting on the windshield thats longer than mine. thats what really bothers me!!! 91 accord has like 7 inch factory smoked windshield. gggrrrrr

 

Good luck finding a place to do the inspection... honestly these local nut jobs at the Texaco etc. stations look for that crap right away. When I had my 99.5 A4 I took it in with Audi Performance across the front windshield. The guy said it was too low so I had to strip it off. SO, I put it back on WITHIN legal limits and the SAME guy tells me a year later you can not have writing on the front windshield and he never inpspected my car the previous year EVEN THOUGH I had his signature on the sticker... talk about almost putting someone through a wall... anyway, I feel your pain, good luck.

Go to Michaels craft store and buy a sheet of that rub-off lettering. Make your own ABS line and arrow below your tint. Then take your car anywhere you want. (except a subaru dealer/garage)
