Looks like I may be living on this side of the map by August. Are most folks on this forum or Nasioc or someplace else? I only ask b/c most BAIC folks are on i-club and nasioc BAIC is a ghost town. I wasn't sure if the Mid Atlantic region was along the same lines.
I'm sure I'll be chopping it up with you folks soon enough.

I'm going there too...........someday!
I'm trying to head that way too, I miss the east coast. I'm up here in D-troit and with all the layoffs going on it's only a matter of time before I'm on the outside looking in. Good luck and good hunting.

Stay out of Baltimore. If one was to stick an enema in the United States, it would be right in Baltimore. DC is just as bad.
There are plenty of nicer areas outside of those dumpy cities.

I live in Frederick, and Frederick is actually referred to by many as "Fredneck." I guess "outsiders" have this stereotypical facade that there are nothing but rednecks here. I've been living in Frederick for nearly 8 years, and honestly, I don't see where all of these supposed rednecks are. I mean, like any other place you will run into some, but it's not like West Virginia.
With housing averaging around $300,000+, there aren't many rednecks that can afford to live in this area. We're about an hour away from Baltimore, DC, Gettysburg, etc. It seems like Frederick is "right in the middle" of everything.
