Looking for a good tint place near Arlington or Centreville, VA
I was curious if anyone knows of a good tint place in the area and if they are running darker then legal tint. I just moved up here and not sure how strict the cops are when it comes to tint. Thanks for any information.

Everyone in the NOVA/DC area seems to LOVE this place out in Rockville, MD. http://winnerswindowtint.com/ Check em out or do a search in the mid-atlantic region of Nasioc for Winners Window Tint and see all the positive comments. In fact I think they give a small discount for mentioning Nasioc when you purchase your tint.

Thanks for the help. New question then, I read that the legal limit on tint in VA, is 50% on the front windows and 35% for the rear. I would rather get 20% all around, but I am not sure how much of a hassle it would be with cops and inspection. I just got my inspection sticker last week. Or should I get 35% all the way around and just have to deal with the front glass when inspection time comes around. I guess I am just curious what other people are using in VA.
Thanks again,
Zab

Generally the inspector wont really give a rats butt about your tint. But a cop can give you a ticket when you aren't even in the car for it. He can just leave ticket after ticket on the windshield...ask me how I know.....
I won't generally go for "computer cut" or "laser cut" tint. Those are the film cut from manufactury's dimentions, and sometime it differs from your actual window exposed (ie, tiny difference during the manufacury assembly). Call me old fashsion, but I trust the original cutting method (ie from your window). I know this place call "the tint shop" off 355 across the street from King Farm. They are not cheap, but they are pretty good. One of the most important facts is that they've been around for nearly 10 years or more. That's a good indication that they do a good job. And you know what? years down the road, IF something happen to the tint, you are able to find them for warrantee.
