Curry's Auto Service

Does anyone know anything about Curry's auto service in VA? I think they installed for Vishnu a while back but don't seem to anymore. They any good?

First off, let me say I have never dealt with them, so I only know what I have read. Take that for whatever it's worth.

They are very good and smart. You will pay a little more, but I think its worth it. Not only did they fix my truck, but there were very good about keeping me informed. I didnt have to call all the time to find out whats going on.

I've only dealt with the one in Chantilly, but I hear the ashburn one is just as good. (plus the one in ashburn has the 4 wheel dyno)

After reading those other threads i guess i should clarify they have worked on two or my other cars (not the wrx) and I was happy with the service. Ive never been to their ashburn store.

What a crock! Matt is a very reasonable guy. I have trusted him with both my BMW and the WRX. I have nothing but the utmost praise for the team at Curry's.

Lots of times, people get so emotionally charged and begin pointing fingers when it is totally uncalled for. I hope you will consider that when you make your assessment of Curry's. They are good people.

Just to reinforce what I said earlier, I have not had any personal experience with them. I do think, however, it's interesting to read how the Curry's employees responded in the posts above...

Matt Curry is the owner of that shop and he will fiercely defend his company's name when it is being attacked. Some guys are content to just sit by and let others badmouth them. Matt won't stand for it just as he won't stand for shoddy workmanship.

its not badmouthing when you back it up with experience.

I will never go back to curry's again, they charged me $190 for a crappy alignment.

They lied and mislead a friend of mine about tires she ordered

and they royally screwed up a certain national autoXer's RS. messed up an EGT bung install, headers, exhaust and other things.

not to mention the many stories like in those links. and there are more over on nasioc such as when they screwed up a guy's fender roll.
