Beaverun Autox

Just got back from the Thursday April 15th autox at Beaverun. Its a great time. $20 gets you a decent number of runs. There were only 15 cars there so me and my buddy got about 12 runs between the two of us. Fairly laid back and lots of nice people. There were three other imprezas up there tonite besides my 04 WRX. (white 04 wrx sedan, 2.2L outback sport and black GC8 2.5RS) The next event is Thursday April 22nd with registration starting at 4pm. Then there is an SCCA autox Sunday April 25th. Hopfully I'll be at both. Let me know to look out for anymore subarus.

Just wanted to add that if you are me and like any fast car and not just subarus, all the other cars were hot and tons of fun to watch. And if you dont feel like racing (not sure why you wouldnt race) its only $5 to watch.

Sorry bud we werent cutting in line till the end and thats because the people running the event told us to. My roomate and I were both driving so in order to get the same number of runs as everyone else we had to cut the line in half. We both paid our $20 so it was only fair that we did. If you didn't notice the Z06 with two drivers was cutting in line also. My roomate whos been autoxing for 3 years says its normal for people to do that. Sorry if we hurt your feelings.

Hey like it or not its a normal occurance at any autocross where one car is shared by two drivers. Each driver needs to get the same number of heats so that car cuts the line in half. I'm sorry about pissing you guys off. Next time if you have a problem with something I'm doing, be an adult and say something to me at the event. Don't just slam me online where you can hide behind a computer. Being new at this whole thing my goal is to not make enimies. Believe me I was reluctant to start cutting the line but the people running the event and a few other autoxers told me that it was ok and thats why I did it.

Don't worry, it wont happen again. My roomate was only driving my car because his BMW wont be ready to run for a few weeks yet. So instead he is going to bring his stock four cylinder S10 out and run that. Have fun waiting for that thing to take its run cuz its surely won't be fast.
