SRIC Mountain Bike Crew!
Matt I may meet up with you guys at the bottom of 49 and ride clementine>connector, but then double back just hit culvert/confluence. I know there is no way I can ride +25miles and ride on Tuesday @ HITG.
And you call yourself a MAN?
Come on out! I think I have three other riders coming. It's kind of an all or nothing deal with them though. If one backs out, they'll all back out.
9AM at the confluence lower parking lot (before the bridge)? Please confirm.

I will not be there tomorrow. I am beat and there's no way I'll be up and able to ride 25 miles at 9AM.
Have fun.
I may just hit GB a little later to get my riding in.

Did you end up riding, Mike? You missed a pretty fun ride!
Had a great time today. It was awesome to meet you finally, Nelson. Thanks for the downhill/riding tips on the back half of divide.

I did okay on the way out until I hit fuelbreak/culvert/confluence; started cramping up. Still did most of the jumps though...just with some minor discomfort.
I was thinking I did about 14miles, but you guys did 22 of which 11 was FDLT. So maybe I did closer to 11

I followed that other Lance on the way out for some of the connector...I was right on his tale until the climbing...then as usual...owned!
Good seeing you guys and hope I'm in full recovery by Tuesday.

Sweet ride, good to meet and see everyone! Kevin and I weren't feeling the climb at the end so went down stonewall confluence. I thought I'd be more sore/tired than I am right now.
That Garmin tracking thing is nice...I'll have to add it to the list...
Can't wait for HITG. Lance, I'll pick you up at the end of where the trail lets out to the road. What parking lot do you guys meet at to start the ride?

Actually, Joe had an accident on Connector and hurt his wrist pretty bad. We bailed from connector at the gate and rode down Old Foresthill Rd. Got some pretty good speed goin
. I hope he's OK; His hand was swollen when we got to the car, but looked a lot better after he'd iced it for an hour or so. I went up to Reno tonight - just got back, so I haven't talked to him since we got back today. I'll know more tomorrow I suppose.

1:20 for 15+ miles isn't too bad for GB!
It's a bit smoky out there, but the tennis courts at the end of the ride made it all worthwhile. A large breasted woman wearing the wrong bra for sports activities and swinging a tennis club is always a good thing.
