Well.
I'm healed. I'm healed, I'm healed, I'm healed. Still feels weird saying it. Anyway, doctor said I have 100% fracture healing and even something special that he doesn't see often. He said that when a patient has a break low like mine, and gets a non-union (where the bone don't grow back together), he would do a bone graft where he packs bone between the tib and fib to get the two to grow together and around to heal the fracture. He said that my leg did that all on its own
My body is awesome!
Here's the xray, you can see the extra bone growth between the tib/fib:

So when the doctor said I was healed, I said "so..I can ride the fun stuff again?" and he says "Yes you can!" Which was good I told him, since my bike was in the car and I was going to Auburn after our appointment
Today was an AWESOME day to ride. Randy and I did connector and FDLT. We went slow, took it easy, took some breaks. I forgot how much more work that loop is than GB, but it was a blast. Got some good pics too (better pics of me...I screwed up when getting Randy on the roots
).

Looks like you had fun. If I had known where you were going I would have joined you. As it was, I was home at noon and finally able to make some progress on the seats in the Coupe so I didn't feel too bad.
As for this weekend, it's pretty much shot. On Saturday, I have to pick Ryan up from baseball practice at 11AM and then I have a wedding reception at 3PM. Sunday we're going to my father in-laws to tear down his failing gazebo. That will pretty much kill the entire day.
I might try to squeeze in GB early (like 8AM) Saturday or Sunday.

Looks like there's s'posed to be some rain up there tonight. Will need a weather report in the morning, Randy
. Weather says just showers, so hopefully it will make the trails super tacky, and not all muddy
