Snow cruise
Hi all,
Was talking to a fellow i-Club member 1JavaBlk_in_Sac and we came to an agreement that a drive up the 50, along the shoreline, and hitting 80 all the way back is much needed to end up the year in a proper, Subaru+snow way.
I am just posting this for a much needed heads up, and GI on this "End Of The Year" Event. I would suggest Monday (27th) or Tuesday (28th) would be the best, traffic wise.
Was thinking about having a meeting point at Shingle Springs Subaru. Right off of 50. Whoever (read majority) is coming from Sac, southern and northern from Sac, or anywhere in between would have to pass by this location on their way to Lake Tahoe anyway.
We could meet anywhere between 8-10am so we have plenty of day light, chains restrictions OFF (hopefully, in case of big snow storm night before), and plenty of time to come back before dark so postXmas drinking can take place.

uhmm, i would say the Monday 27th or Tuesday the 28th would be ideal since it is a week and not a weekend day so we can avoid most of the traffic.
also, that is why i posted it, so ppl can contribute...

sounds fun.id love to go .i just got off the phone with java,he told me about it.when you guys confirm the date for sure let me know..weekend might be better cuz of peoples work like i work those two day but mmight be able to get it off. keep me posted
ok, I think weekend would be better since most ppl don't work on Sat or Sun. I vote for Saturday Jan 1st or Sunday Jan 2nd. It would be the perfect way to start a New Year
