Isn''t there a drag strip meet this wednesday at Sac Raceway?

 

Why isn't there any autocrosses in Sac. anymore?

 

Venues all shut it down. Supposedly it wasn't profitable enough.

Stead is only a few miles north of Reno on US395. I think there's a map on the site.

 

Never mind my 1/4 times that are nearly a second faster....

Anyway, the track event is one week from today, 8/18.

 

I call beating an RS by 1 second struggling.

 

I'm glad we didn't choose to go this evening.

The only thing I've ever blamed on my car being slow is me.

 

so i come home from work today around 5:45. i think to myself, "damn, it's f-ing hot in here". look at the thermostat, and it's a nice and tropical 85 degrees. POS air conditioner decided to take a **** this afternoon. i turned it all off for a few hours and went out for dinner and to invest in some box fans. we went to the new WalMart on Watt at El Camino. it was actually a 2 story walmart with an escalator that had a cart escalator. that was kind of wierd to see. anyway, i'm having someone look at the AC tomorrow to fix it for good (3rd time pooping out this summer)
