I fiugre most of the4 diehard regulars who are always around on Saturday nights have each other's cell numbers and all that shiz, so we can always coordinate
True dat, but I still don't want to miss the official meets

So Maita found the noise coming from my engine. It's not a valve issue as we first thought, but rather something else far more sad.
How lame of Senator not to discover the cracked belt cover in the first place. I hope Maita is able to effect necessary diagnosis and repairs quickly.

OT (what isn't? ) - What kind of car did they give you as a rental?

And $5 spent on a good cause, I might add - to the man who was in such dire need that he had to...

...steal someone else's web site!

For those who might be confused, see NASIOC history thread in BAIC. We aren't referring to nKoan when we say 'Nick'.

Actually the purpose of the repair was to replace the cracked cover, they just did it wrong (or half assed, or both). I don't know exactly how they did it wrong - maybe the sound has been there the whole time but just now got to the point where it was actually audible. Not sure.

And I'm driving a broke *** Corolla rental. This car sucks. Its got this fake *** wood trim crap in it that looks WAY out of place. I wish I had the Cavalier back :|
