I just got back from the tracks, there were 2 STi's, one black and one wrb, a sonic yellow wrx who ran a 13.994 and quit because he didnt want to rent a helmet, a wrb 04 wrx running gruppe-s headers and helix TBE & uppipe with a gruppe-s reflash, he ran a 13.5 with a 1.8 60ft, wow, and drum roll please......my best run yet, 13.909!

Time Slip
rt: .286
60: 2.011 (still not there yet)
E.T: 13.909
MPH: 97.045

Once I hit that I bolted while I was still on top, also I really didnt feel like renting a helmet only to run a 14.0 again lol. I'd rather know I absoultely have to have a helmet before I will wear one. It was fun, I guess practice makes a huge difference in drag times.

He BV, just wondering which coilovers did you end up with and why you went with the ones you did?

Also, are you planning on doing any open track HPDE days???

i went with megan racing coilovers. i went with them because they are relativly cheap, but are great quality from what i have heard and from what i have seen so far. they are the exact same as a version of the Apexi N1 coilovers, but wear a different name. im getting BFG ge-force KDW2's for tires and i would LOVE to do open track with you guys. im not gonna be able to for awhile though. i need to address my brakes (im stock right now) before i hit the track and im all out of money, LOL!

Cool! You could get away with just upgrading you pads, fluid and brake lines but keep the stock brakes. Pads and fluid are the main thing though. Good luck.

I am so not colorblind, but you are right your car is no where near wrb! lol I maybe be a bit dislecsic though because when I got home I saw your car as wrb? Isn't that weird? Anyways nice job out there.

Umm... I'm not too sure what I'm going to be doing at this point. I may be trading in my WRX for a used STI or a new EVO RS. :covers head:

I had a bit of an epiphany recently and I have decided to find a car that I wont be so inclined to pour $ into. Either one of those I will be more than happy with out of the box so...we will see what happens. I really hope to stick with Subarus but I may end up with the EVO RS untill the next gen Impreza comes out.
